Celebrating Client Success: Kirk Gibson Foundation Wins DBusiness Community Impact Award
P.A. Commercial is proud to congratulate its client, the Kirk Gibson Foundation, on being honored with the Community Impact Award by DBusiness Magazine at the Commercial Real Estate Awards. Now in its third year, this annual award program recognizes the top projects, transactions, dealmakers, and industry executives in metro Detroit.
The Kirk Gibson Center project was selected for its ongoing commitment to improving the quality of life for those living with Parkinson’s disease. Its mission focuses on raising awareness, promoting collaboration, and funding programs that offer hope and support to patients and families navigating the challenges of the disease.
P.A. Commercial’s Matt Schiffman and Mike Gunn were honored to represent the Foundation as tenant representatives during the lease of the Kirk Gibson Center for Parkinson’s Wellness—a state-of-the-art facility designed to serve as a hub for wellness, education, and connection. The Center offers movement classes, support programs, and research initiatives that empower individuals to live fully and thrive despite their diagnosis.

This marks the second Community Impact Award that P.A. Commercial has been part of in 2025. Earlier this year, the firm received the CoStar Community Impact Award for its representation of ownership in the 66,000-square-foot lease at 26200 Lahser Road in Southfield—a transformation of a long-vacant school building into a new charter school for Crescent Academy. Schiffman and Gunn served as landlord representatives for that transaction, helping to repurpose the property into an educational hub serving local students and families.
