Levi Smith, Associate Broker/Tenant Rep

Background

Law firm, Butzel Long occupied 24,000 SF of office space over one and a half floors on Main Street in downtown Ann Arbor. They had a year and a half remaining on their lease but only needed 12,000 SF of space to accommodate their team.

Strategy

Levi Smith at P.A. Commercial approached law firm, Dickinson Wright. Turns out, they were outgrowing their downtown Ann Arbor space on Liberty Street which was located just a mile from Butzel Long’s location.

Results

Butzel Long moved into the former Dickinson Wright space on Main Street. Dickinson Wright took over 16,000 SF of space at the Main Street location. They were also able to secure naming rights on the building. The remaining 8,000 SF of space was subleased to another firm, Schiff Hardin within just 90 days.
